my music posts aren't about "new music" necessarily, it's about whatever music/songs i'm listening to at the moment; or bands/musicians i admire.
that being said, one of the albums i've been playing lately has been around for about a year now. and the songs haven't become vapid; instead i think i connect more with the songs now than i did initially. do you ever revisit a song and realize that at that point in your life the song has an entirely different meaning; takes on a whole new life, than when you heard it first? this happens to me quite often.
