sorry for the late notice, but I am participating in the annual Stride & Ride event to find a cure for Muscular Dystrophy, THIS SUNDAY! [Real short notice. Yikes!]
some of you may or may not know, that one of my best friends was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis while we were in, i believe, our sophomore year of high school. she had a tough time initially, but soon she went into remission and has been doing great ever since. i thank God for that, because Cris has this way of lighting up a room with her smile, and silliness. she definitely brings a little bit of extra sunshine into my life. i don't know what i would do with out her.
Cris has asked me to be a part of her MDA Stride & Ride team again this year, and help in raising money to find a cure; and to help families of those affected by this disease.
